Ron Kurtis
Senior Vice President and CFO

Ron Kurtis has been senior vice president and CFO for Journal Broadcast Group since 1993. Prior to that, he held the position of controller for nine years.

Kurtis began his career with Journal Communications in 1973, as an assistant controller for a printing subsidiary of what was then called the Journal Company. He became controller of WTMJ-TV, WTMJ-AM and WKTI-FM in 1975. His job responsibilities expanded as Journal Broadcast Group (then known as WTMJ Inc.) acquired new broadcast properties.

Kurtis holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.
