Charlie Sykes To Host Clark Howard at Insight 2008*

Milwaukee, Wis. – Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Charlie Sykes will host Insight 2008, a live forum featuring special guest and national consumer advocate Clark Howard, at the Country Springs Hotel on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Other panel guests will include WTMJ talk show hosts Jeff Wagner and James T. Harris, and “Sly” from WIBA-AM in Madison. Panelists will debate and discuss the state of the economic and political world for the coming year.

Tickets are required to attend this event and are no longer available for the general public. Segments of Insight 2008 will be re-broadcast during the Charlie Sykes Show on Newsradio 620 WTMJ on Thursday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. – noon.

* Coverage Requirements: Television stations airing footage of Insight 2008 must display the following on screen for a minimum of five (:05) seconds: “Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Insight 2008”.  Radio stations airing audio of Insight 2008, and newspapers and Web sites using quotations from Insight 2008, must reference the following: “Insight 2008 with Charlie Sykes on Newsradio 620 WTMJ”.

Newsradio 620 WTMJ, Milwaukee’s heritage radio station, is the winner of radio’s highest honor: The National Association of Broadcasters’ 2004 Marconi Radio Award for Station of the Year. Previously, in 2000 and 2003, Newsradio 620 WTMJ won the Marconi Radio Award for News/Talk/Sports Station of the Year. Also in 2003, Newsradio 620 WTMJ won broadcast journalism’s highest honor, the Radio-Television News Directors Association’s Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in large market radio.
