Journal Broadcast Group Hires Three Financial Analysts

Milwaukee, Wis. — Scot Stokes, Stacy Schmidt and Guillermo Greig have been hired by Journal Broadcast Group as financial analysts for the company.

In their roles, Stokes, Schmidt and Greig will be responsible for leading profit planning, forecasting, and providing financial support to their assigned markets with the goal of driving operating earnings of their respective operational markets.

Stokes holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s of science degree from the University of Utah.  He has several years of managerial finance experience, most recently as manager-finance plan and analysis for PlayLV Gaming Operations LLC, a hotel casino management company. He will be located in Las Vegas, and will be responsible for Journal Broadcast Group’s operations in Las Vegas and Palm Springs, Calif.
 
Schmidt earned her MBA and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southwestern College. An experienced financial analyst, she joins the company from the aftermarket airline division of Spirit Aerosystems. She will be responsible for Journal Broadcast Group’s operations in Wichita, Kan.; Springfield, Mo.; and Tulsa, Okla.; and will be based in the company’s Wichita offices.

Guillermo Greig earned his MBA from Central Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University. He has 14 years of managerial finance experience, most recently with Johnson Controls as a senior financial analyst. Prior to that he spent 12 years with Time Warner Cable as finance supervisor. Greig will be located in Fort Myers, Fla., responsible for Journal Broadcast Group’s operations in Fort Myers and Knoxville, Tenn.
