KTNV and THECOOLTV Partnership Brings Back 24-Hour Music Video Programming for Vegas Viewers

Las Vegas — KTNV-TV announced today that THECOOLTV broadcast network has launched in Las Vegas in partnership with the station.

THECOOLTV is a free 24-hour music video channel with “hyper-localized” tailored programming that reflects local demographics, music events and even local artists. Viewers can expect exciting entertainment like live concerts, music videos, band profiles and feature films about music from THECOOLTV’s expansive video vault. The high-quality programs are supplied by major and independent record labels, established and local artists, and content providers.

Thanks to THECOOLTV’s partnership with KTNV, round-the-clock music programming will be provided on over-the-air broadcast television on Channel 13.3 and on Cox Communications Digital Tier Channel 116. Radio station THE PARTY 93.3 FM is a promotional partner with Channel 13 for THECOOLTV.

According to Cool Music Network CEO Joe Camparato, "We are ON — on location, on the web, on TV and, soon, on hand-held and mobile devices. We understand today’s music fans want their music where and when they want it. That’s what we deliver with strategic broadcast partnerships and unprecedented technical advancements!”

“It is so exciting to have a real, 24/7 music video channel,” said Jim Prather, executive vice president and general manager of KTNV-TV.  “And we’re proud to offer THECOOLTV to the people of Las Vegas.”

“I’m excited about our partnership with KTNV to promote this new dimension of music entertainment for Las Vegas viewers,” said Brandy Newman, vice president and market manager for Clear Channel Radio, owner of THE PARTY. “93-1 The Party is all about music and now there is a channel that brings music video back to life!”

THECOOLTV is the newest offering from Cool Music Network, LLC, a Kansas-based multi-platform entertainment company. Cool Music Network (CMN) remains an undisputed leader in live event recording with on-site mastering for immediate sales of concert CDs, DVDs and memory sticks. Meanwhile, it has created a fast-growing website for digital download and mail-order sales of its products ("CD ON DEMAND!") and now rounds out its distribution with THECOOLTV.

KTNV is owned by Journal Broadcast Group.
