KTTS-FM 94.7 Earns Four Regional Murrow Awards

Springfield, Mo. — Springfield radio station KTTS-FM 94.7 has been named winner of four regional Edward R. Murrow awards for small market radio in the following categories:

The entries competed against other small market stations from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska and will compete in a national competition against winners from 12 other regions.

The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) has honored outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971. Recipients must demonstrate the journalistic excellence that Edward R. Murrow made a standard for the electronic news profession. KTTS-FM is one of five radio stations in Springfield owned by Journal Broadcast Group.
