Palm Springs, Calif. — Kate Wailand Glover has been hired as News Director for KMIR6 News and KPSE My13.

Glover is a 15-year news veteran with experience at WESH-TV in Orlando, WTTG-TV, and WRC-TV in Washington, D.C. She also has national news experience with work at CNN in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, and FOX News Channel Los Angeles.

“I am pleased to welcome Kate to our KMIR/KPSE family. She’s a great addition to our team,” said Vice President and General Manager, Journal Broadcast Group – Palm Springs Operations Lyle Schulze.

Glover is a native of Buffalo, New York, one of the snowiest cities in the country, but now calls California home. “I’m really excited to join such an aggressive and motivated news team,” she said.
