Bickham moves to Z-92, stays at T-95

Omaha, Neb. – Z-92 has added Jason Bickham to the afternoon drive, but that doesn’t mean he’s giving up his night job at T-95 in Wichita. While working from the Z-92 (KEZO-FM) studios in Omaha, he will continue with T-95 (KICT-FM).

Both stations are owned by Journal Broadcast Group.

“I’m am thrilled to join the legendary Z-92, while I continue to work with my old friends at Journal Broadcast Group’s other monster rock station, T-95,” Bickham said.

Bickham joined Journal Broadcast Group in 2004, working at Z106.7 in Springfield, Mo. For the past three years he has led the evening shift on T-95. He has already moved to Omaha and has been on-air at Z-92 since March 18.

In making the announcement, Z-92 Program Director Steve Brill commented: “Bickham is very talented and brings many skills to Z-92: a great voice, tremendous work ethic, a creative mind and strong Internet skills.”

With the addition of Bickham to Z-92 line up, Jessica Dol will return to midday’s, the shift she held for six years prior to lending her voice to the afternoons. “I loved doing afternoons, but my body clock kept waking me up at 6 a.m., so I am glad to be heading back to midday’s,” Dol explained.

Program director Steve Brill vacates midday’s to concentrate on programming Z-92 and his new duties overseeing the expansion of the newly national Todd ’n Tyler Radio Empire.
