TODAY’S TMJ4 Packers Pre-Season Games to Air on Milwaukee’s CW18

Milwaukee, Wis. — In order to accommodate the TODAY’S TMJ4 (WTMJ-TV) broadcast of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, Milwaukee’s CW18 (WVTV-TV) has agreed to air two of the Green Bay Packers pre-season games originally scheduled to air on TODAY’S TMJ4.

Journal Communications’ Broadcast Group Completes Acquisition of KWBA in Sierra Vista, Arizona

MILWAUKEE, WI – July 23, 2008 – Journal Communications, Inc. (NYSE:JRN) announced today that its Journal Broadcast Group, Inc. and Journal Broadcast Corporation have completed the purchase of KWBA-TV in Sierra Vista from Tucson Communications, LLC and Cascade Broadcasting Group. KWBA-TV, Analog Channel 58 and Digital Channel 44, is the CW Network-affiliate serving the Tucson market.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Journal Communications’ Broadcast Group Signs Asset Purchase Agreement for KNIN-TV in Boise, Idaho

MILWAUKEE, WI – July 1, 2008 – Journal Communications, Inc. (NYSE:JRN) announced today that its Journal Broadcast Group, Inc. and Journal Broadcast Corporation have entered into an asset purchase agreement with Banks-Boise, Inc. to purchase KNIN-TV for $8 million, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. KNIN-TV, Analog Channel 9 and Digital Channel 10, is the CW Network affiliate serving the Boise market.
