Chuck Muth Joins KTNV-TV as Political Commentator

Las Vegas, Nev. — Karin Movesian, news director for KTNV Channel 13 Action News in Las Vegas, announced today that Chuck Muth has joined the Action News team as a political commentator. In announcing the addition to Action News, Movesian said: “We are excited to have Chuck join our team. With his background, he will provide our viewers with expert, insightful commentary during this election year. We’re proud to bring him on board as part of our 2008 Red, White and Blue Initiative, Channel 13’s commitment to providing political coverage every day through the general election.”

Milwaukee Radio and TV Team Up to Help Wisconsin Flood Victims

Milwaukee, Wis. — Journal Broadcast Group’s Milwaukee operations (TODAY’S TMJ4, Newsradio 620 WTMJ and 94.5 WKTI ) and the Salvation Army teamed up for the “How I Can Help” Telethon on Tuesday, June 17. The event raised in excess of $100,000 for Wisconsin flood victims. Special programing aired on all three stations, and a live phone bank was hosted at the TODAY’S TMJ4 studio.

Boise, Idaho — KIVI-TV Today’s 6 News has been honored by the Northwest Region of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with two Emmy Awards for Program Achievement.  KIVI-TV “Today’s 6 News Live at 10:00” was named best newscast in the five-state northwest region for evening newscasts, and KIVI-TV “Today’s 6 News Good Morning Live” was recognized as the best morning newscast in the same region. Both honors were for market-size 81+.
